Tonight,  Xmas eve.

To me, a peaceful night.

After whole day touring around the city with a fantastic photographer who is the first New Yorker I met, I felt a little bit tired,

Now in bed with my cute laptop, music on,

Continue sex and the city, coz that is a story happening in NYC.

 

It has been my second time to be a tour guide of my city.

 

The first one took place when I was on campus. It was really a job, part-time job. I earned $120/day. But I found I would like to guide people around my city for fun instead of money. I feel pretty good being sincere to them.

 

And this time is completely for friendship. George is a photographer for BearingPoint branding. I found he was a great guy, loving his mother who enjoys talking with her son on internet, loving his wife who gives up vegetarianism just for T-Bone steak, even loving his wife’s parent – the gifts for them are all set.

 

George took pics everywhere, every min, even the time for eating, finding  something interesting, lifting the camera, focusing, pushing the button continuously with “ka za ka za …”. I had no sense of photography, however, to be frank, he looked so great when shooting.

 

George found that XiangYang Market was a funny and crazy thing for him. He cannot imagine if George Amarni , one day, be there, whether he will go mad!!!

 

George asked me the imagination and feeling of NYC. I told him most of it came from Sex and the City.

 

Everything is possible in NYC. And I prefer the NYC in winter, coz the city covered with white snow is quite different And I can imagine, early working day morning, an old lady, clearing the street; delivery guys drive bike between the high buildings, pretty nice and peaceful. Once 9 o’clock, all change!!! Crowd pours out of the subway exit, rush hour for work, business, money….interesting!!!

 

George is a nice guy who likes to talk. In cab, he loves to talk about everything, his work, Shanghai, NY, japan, music, his wife. When I told him that SH in night is incredible, he said his new year resolution was drinking more, coz he never drinks.

 

To my surprise, he took pic of Alicia Keys several weeks ago. Fabulous, coz she is my favorite now. George promised me to send her pic with her mother.

 

George took 19:00 plane leaving SH for USA. Due to the different time zone, he also can spend a X mas eve in USA, so lucky for him. He said perhaps he would come back soon. I hope so!!!

 

Great day with a great guy, and also like the gift he gave me!!!

Nothing to do now, boring!!!!!!!!!!

Last National Day, I spent in Aus.

It is the first time I started my big trip alone with a Aus summer tour to visit my buddies, 2 boyz in Syd. and Brisbane respectively.

Traveling solo was quite exciting experiment to me.

Let me recap those beautiful days in Aus.

 

In Syd., I were living in Tony's house with his dad,cousin(i call her sister) and another 2 boyz (tony's brothers).

The weather there was nice,the sun shining all the time, the sea was clean and the sand gold. Tony is my frind, and my classmate in primary school. This time, he bacame my tour guide, showing me around the city,visiting the sydney opera house, sydney bridge, dinnering in a western restaurant. Syd. is peaceful. Great place

 

After about 3 days in Syd. I traveled solo to meet another guy, Eddie in Brisbane.

I followed him over the Bris.seein film, drinkin green tea shake...( also can be found in Starbucks in SH)

then drove to Gold Coast, a touristic paradise. We were living in a great hotel at the coast.

The best thing, there was a balcony facing the coast in room. then we chattin, drinkin with finger snack... :0))))

In Gold Coast, beside beach,we played in 2 worlds, also grabbed dinner with Eddie's frinds- a cute and nice couple.

 

Two short days stayin, I put another visit in Toowoomba, an unique city on the mountain where Eddie's uni is.

I saw with my own eyes those scenes in the CD that Eddie sent me when I was in Shanghai, including the tomb, the market, the pizza as well as the dorm... Good Experience@@@@

 

Yep, i ve definitely snapped out of the paradise since I stepped on the East Airline back to SH.

However, I got my first successful travel, got my memory, also got my SUN TAN ( people easily found me been to beach, hahaha)

long time haven't been here,

today, the bund welcomed me with a quite broad avenue, chilly wind,still magnificent westen-inspired style architecuture,

it is china's wall street, bank street, BEA, CITI, CMB, ICBC, BOC, SPDB, CB...

once, the bund was my dream, working in those classic castle,

also Bund No 3-Giorgio Armani,

by the Huangpu River,

everything is open including my mind,
