I studied language in uni, learning how to interpret and communicate with people who speak different language from us.

 

Today, I learn another kind of language - accounting.

 

Accounting is a language of business. It uses words and symbols to communicate financial info. that is intended to be useful for decision making.

 

And accountant, as we all know, in  a complex society, decision-makers have to rely on the data supplied by specialists in various fields. For example, lawyer provides info. about legislation; doctor gives advise on health-care. As to accountant, it is his job to meet society's need for economic information.

 

So now I begin to accquire another kind of language officially.

OK! HERE WE GO!!!

I think I have been old. That is the really feeling after I finished A Cinderella story.

This is a story for the young. All wear blue jeans,  converse sneakers, baseball hat, so cute and kool. Once I used to be that kind of girl dreaming to meet my boy around the corner who was smiling to me with his shining and talkative eyes…

To be frank, I love holding books, taking part-time job, biking, making out…….

It is absolutely a horrible thing for me to dream back to young, coz I am getting older…

Ahhhh, god bless me, an old lady!!!!!!!!

Well, since I’m sick, and all I can do is sleep in bed and watch DVD.

 

I rent 7 dvds for my holiday, so it is really a dvd holiday.

 

The first one I picked is Moulin Rouge – that inspired Academy Award-winning film.

 

Moulin Rouge, as it is named, happened in that fabulously sensuous nightclub, Paris 1900. And it sets out to be exactly what it is – a love story with enough splendid singing and dancing scenes. 

 

The story is,  a passion-filled poet falls in love with a breathtaking courtesan, simple one but that is what I cannot miss each time.

 

And the visual is amazing – Nicole is captured on film with such luxurious grace- scarlet lip, shining diamond, velvet costume. And those exuberant and crazy cancan dancing scenes are more than additive.

 

But I love the songs better, and the beautiful poetic lyric best.

Diamond is girl’s best friend.

How wonderful the life is, now you are in the world.

One day I fly away, leave all this to yesterday.

 

At first, I felt funny that they acted the film in songs instead of normal talking just like human being do in daily life. And later, as the story went on, this kind of feeling disappeared completely. The singing and dancing are part of the film.

 

Nicole has a stunning performance in this film. I love her voice. Perhaps it is the gift of actresses that their songs can bring the listeners a vivid picture of story. Kate Winslet is another example – What if.

…

Although, in the end Satine died and she didn't fly away with her lover- Christian, it was still a romance, not failed.

Believe that , as Christian said - the greatest thing you ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.

2. keep fit. swimming, skating, yoga, scuba-diving

 

3. finish 3 books of detective story

 

4. drink more or less, still a question to me

 

5. christmas in summer

 

6. keep my short-hair

 

7. go on being a fantast

 

8. visit more cities, domestic or abroad

 

9. change my current life style

 

10. continue doing my space, for my friends and myself

Episode 1

 

We first met each other in the cafteria in BE. I didn't know you, although we graduated from the same uni and it seems that it was my fault, coz i was not a traditional compus-based student.haha. It is said you were a talent. And you proved yourself in the days later.

tell me what is your feeling of me at first time.

 

Episode 2

 

That was terrific experience. Remeber, on the night before we planned to outting, I drank too much, for God's sake. I could not remember clearly what happened that night, just knew one of my friends drove me home. But the next day, we kept our schedule, going to Hangzhou for outting.

Even on the train, i was...you know...not clear about all around.

Actually, that outting is something like an escape from my mess situation that time, thanks for your listening to my story.

 

Episode 3

 

You know what, everytime, i met tough things, you are the first one emerging from my brain. To some extent, i rely on you to solve my problems. In future, i also try to give my hand to you, even it is just a tiny help.

 

So, New Year, we should celebrate it for knowing each other.

And in New Year, follow me, pubbing in the night of Shanghai, fun!!!
